'You won't understand the difficulties we face as women leaders of YC’ 

Youth Congress state general secretary Neethu Vijayan criticized actor Ramesh Pisharody for supporting Rahul Mamkootathil MLA, facing sexual allegations, the other day. Pisharody came forward supporting Rahul the other day. Pisharody, owing allegiance to the congress, responded that there is no need to remove Rahul from his posts until the allegations are proven and that there will be protests.

Neethu Vijayan said Pisharody will not understand the difficulties we are facing as women leaders of the Youth Congress and that we are engaged in political activities by facing many challenges in the public.

She said that if Rahul had denied these allegations, they could have walked with their heads held high and the situation now is that no self-respecting women Youth Congress leaders can hold their heads high in front of the public.
