CHANDIGARH: The employees of a firm in Chandigarh ‘struck gold’ this Diwali after their magnanimous chairman gifted them something far greater than what they imagined. MITS Group founder and chairman MK Bhatia gifted 51 luxury Scorpio SUVs to his employees as Diwali gifts. A video of him handing over the keys to the employees has gone viral on social media. The expensive SUVs were gifted to the best-performing employees during the recent event. Even in the past, Bhatia has gifted cars to his employees as a gift.
Bhatia survived struggles and a near plunge to penury after his medical store suffered heavy losses in 2002. But, surprising everyone, he made a huge comeback and formed the MITS Group in 2015 and later grew to own 12 companies. Although the MITS Group is currently headquartered in Panchkula, Haryana, Bhatia is planning to expand his business to other states in India and overseas markets. Bhatia has received licenses in Canada, London and Dubai by 2023. The video of the chairman gifting his employees cars has gone viral on social media.
Congratulatory comments mixed with hilarious ones, too, are appearing in the viral video. Some also suggested that there is nothing wrong with giving cars or bungalows to employees as long as the chairman makes a profit without compromising on quality.
