KASARAGOD: Railways will no longer allow anything that disturbs sleeping passengers in trains. Talking loudly, listening to music, turning on lights and talking loudly on mobile phones after 10 pm will not be allowed. The new rules will be implemented in all reservation coaches in trains. Notifications regarding this have been displayed in trains. Strict action will be taken if rules are violated. Onboard TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner), catering staff and other railway officials have also been asked to intervene immediately if anyone causes problems to fellow passengers.

No ticket checking after 10pm

• TTE should not come to check passenger tickets after 10 pm
• People traveling in groups should not communicate loudly after 10 pm
• After 10 p.m., the lower berth passenger should allow the middle berth passenger to straighten his seat
• Online food should not be delivered in trains after 10 pm
