The RailOne app, launched by the central government, offers a three percent discount on unreserved and platform tickets. Passengers can rely on this single app for all railway-related services.
This is an alternative to apps like IRCTC RailConnect, UTS, NTES, and Food on Track. It also provides facilities to book porter and taxi services at the railway stations. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched the new app at a function organized in Delhi, on the 40th foundation day of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).
