The RailOne app, launched by the central government, offers a three percent discount on unreserved and platform tickets. Passengers can rely on this single app for all railway-related services.

This is an alternative to apps like IRCTC RailConnect, UTS, NTES, and Food on Track. It also provides facilities to book porter and taxi services at the railway stations. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched the new app at a function organized in Delhi, on the 40th foundation day of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).

No need to queue at station counter for any ticket

1. Reserved and general tickets can be taken. Although it was implemented earlier through the UTS app, it was not successful

2. Platform tickets are also available

3. Information about trains

4. PNR and coach position

5. Will help in travel planning

6. Live location tracking of the train

7. System for grievance redressal including refund

8. Can order food

Old apps will continue to work

Passengers can continue to book tickets through the IRCTC RailConnect app and website. If passengers are currently using the IRCTC RailConnect and UTS apps, they can log in to the RailOne app using their login details. There is no need to install multiple apps. This will save the customer's phone storage. The RailOne app is available on the Android Play Store and the iOS App Store.
