GURUGRAM: A CEO's post sharing a unique leave request from his company employee has gone viral on social media. The employee's honest leave request was posted on X by Jasveer Singh, co-founder and CEO of Knot Dating - a matrimonial service. The reason for this employee's leave request is not a fever or cough.

'I recently had a breakup and haven't been able to focus on work, I need a short break. I'm working from home today, so I'd like to take leave from the 28th to the 8th,' the employee's leave application read. Jasveer Singh shared a screenshot of the email with the note that this is the most honest leave application. Jasveer Singh also says that Gen Z doesn't do filters. The post went viral within minutes, and many people came together with comments.

They say that the new generation of professionals do not hesitate to talk about their mental health and emotional well-being even at work. At the same time, netizens are praising the employee's honesty and the fact that the CEO immediately granted the employee leave. Comments say that such actions are an example for bosses and 'mental health leaves' would be normal if others had this wisdom.
