While even those in their twenties and thirties struggle with back pain and knee pain, Andrew Bostinto, a former soldier, is still doing wonders on the bodybuilding stage at the age of 100. Older than Arnold Schwarzenegger, this super senior's fitness is astonishing people all over the world.

He recently became the oldest bodybuilder in the world by competing in the National Gym Association Physique Competition. Bostinto shocked everyone by winning this championship belt just four months after his 100th birthday.

Bostinto is proving that age is just a number when 78-year-old Arnold is still considered the epitome of physical beauty. Bostinto's advice to stay healthy and fit throughout life may seem simple, but when put into practice, it yields great results.

“The number one thing is to know what you want to accomplish. Commit yourself to it. Be disciplined. Don’t listen to people telling you you’re wasting your time. Don’t listen to negatives." If you don’t have a sense of purpose, you are more likely to lose direction. But if you work hard with a sense of purpose, you can definitely achieve it, Andrew believes.

Bostinto, who started working out at the age of 12, became a gymnast and hand balancer at a very young age and started modelling at the age of 17. He says that he did not train for others and added that he did not train to attract women.

He was very disciplined in terms of diet. When he was young, he ate a lot of low-carb, high-protein foods, two fruits, two salads and 15 glasses of water a day. Although he reduced his food intake at the age of 100, protein is still important. Eggs, yoghurt, and spaghetti with meatballs are included in his diet. He has never smoked or drunk alcohol. He follows his old bodybuilding workouts five days a week at least.

A former soldier, he sometimes changes his workouts due to a stroke and leg problems he suffered during his service. He does basic exercises like push-ups, dips, chin-ups, and abdominal exercises.

He first won the Senior Mr. America title in 1977 at the age of 52, but when comparing all his achievements, Andrew Bostinto says that his 29 years of military service, especially during World War II, are what make him most proud.

The advice he gives to aspiring bodybuilders is also very interesting. "Visualise what you want, then put your mind into it as much as you do your muscles.- says Bostinto. Andrew Bostinto proves through his own life that purposefulness and discipline are the main keys to staying fit and healthy for a long time.
