KOLLAM: When he left his studies midway and started working, Sarfraris's only goal was his elder brother's education. It paid off. Afraris, who obtained his JRF at the first chance, did justice to his younger brother's sweat. He also received an invitation to become a guest assistant professor.
The siblings' lives were changed when their father Shaji, who was their sole support, was unable to go to work following a car accident. Sarfraris (22) is the son of Shajimon and Sheeja, who live near Maloor College in Pathanapuram. Afraris is only two years older. Although their mother Sheeja is going to work, she was not able to find money for her children's studies.
Afraris had full A+ in class 10. He passed his Plus Two with 85 percent marks in Computer Science. Sarfraris is also not bad in studies. He had three A+s in class 10. After completing Plus Two, he joined to study AC Mechanism. However, when he realised that his elder brother's studies would be interrupted due to financial difficulties, he stopped his studies. He taught Afraris by doing whatever he could, including fish trading, painting, and catering.
Afraris holds his younger brother close
Afraris completed his B.Com Taxation privately in 2021 and wanted to continue his studies in Italy when his father's accident happened. He joined M.Com Taxation privately in 2023. Afraris obtained JRF (Junior Research Fellow) in the NET exam in December 2024. He has been invited to join St. Stephen's College, Maloor as an assistant professor. Afraris's goal is to complete the studies of his younger brother, who worked hard for him. Sarfraris's desire is to join the police force.
Sarfraris has not told me of any difficulty. He has only said that I should study. When I got JRF, he was happier than me
