If we look around us, we can see many customs. Sometimes, the customs of another group may seem strange to us. There are many such surprising customs spread across different parts of the world. Often, human groups that carry all these customs along with their clothing, food, and culture are still living in many corners of the world.

A custom popular among the Tidong tribal community has now become a topic of discussion. The Tidong people live in the Borneo region of Malaysia and Indonesia. The word Tidong means those who live in the mountains. There is a custom related to marriage among them that may seem strange. This is a custom among newly married couples.

After marriage, the husband and wife are supposed to stay in the same room for three days. The custom is that they are not allowed to go to the toilet during these three days. This means that the couple is not even allowed to defecate for the first three days. It is believed that they are not allowed to go to the toilet for the first three days to ensure the sanctity of the marriage.
