Stabbed husband for not cleaning house; Indian teacher arrested in US

WASHINGTON: A woman reportedly stabbed her husband and injured him for failing to do the domestic chores. The incident took place in North Carolina, US. Police arrested Indian teacher Chandraprabha Singh (44) in the incident. The incident took place on October 12. Arvind Singh, husband of the accused, is undergoing treatment. Arvind told the police that his wife stabbed him for not cleaning the house. Arvind was stabbed in his neck.

Meanwhile, Chandraprabha testified that she accidentally stabbed her husband while turning around with the knife during the argument. The magistrate initially denied bail to Chandraprabha, but later granted it. The court has ordered her not to communicate with her husband. Following the incident, authorities said that Chandra has been suspended from work.
