US couple arrested for forcibly tattooing children and then cutting skin to remove it

WASHINGTON: A mother and stepfather have been arrested for forcibly tattooing their children in US’ Texas. Megan Mae Farr, 27, and Gunner Farr, 23, tied down their 9-year-old and 5-year-old children and forcibly gave them tattoos. While one received a tattoo on the foot, the other child received one on the shoulder, according to the report. They also tried to remove the tattoos when the police got involved.

The biological father of the kids saw the tattoo and reported to the police. Child Protective Services immediately got involved in the case. Megan and Gunner brutally abused the children to remove the tattoos when they came to know that the incident was reported. Deep wounds were found on the children's bodies. They tried to remove the flesh from the tattooed area.

According to the statement given to the police by both of them, the move was to destroy the evidence by peeling off the skin. Lemon juice was also applied to the wound. The items used for tattooing were recovered from their house.
