Youth caught on camera travelling without helmet with another woman, fine, pic sent to wife's phone; arrested

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth riding his wife’s scooter without a helmet and with another woman, was caught on camera. Soon, his wife received the message for fine on her phone. The youth was arrested on the complaint of his wife for assaulting her following the fight that broke out. The incident happened within the limits of the Karamana police station.

The youth and the woman were caught on camera riding the scooter without wearing helmets. The fine for this and the picture caught on camera were sent to his wife’s phone, the RC owner. A fight broke out between the two over the other woman riding pillion. Even when he told her that he had given her a lift, the fight did not end there.

The woman lodged a complaint stating that he beat her and three-year-old child in the midst of the fight. The police had to arrest the youth, a native of Idukki. He was produced in the court
