NEW DELHI: Will reach out even to the wrestling international federation to ensure justice for the protesting wrestlers in India, said farmer leader Rakesh Tikait. Tikait was speaking in the Khap panchayat formed to discuss new ways of protest to bring down accused MP Brij Bhushan Singh. The Khap panchayat has given a deadline to the government to take action against Singh or else warned about more repercussions in the coming days.
“ The fight against Brij Bhushan is not just from any community but a united one. If Brij Bhushan decides to take a march to further belittle the wrestlers, the farmers will conduct a counter-march. The wrestlers should not be worried about current circumstances, and if all doors go closed, we will approach the president. The final decision on the protest will be taken this Friday.” Tikait said.
