'Pleaded not to disturb, but...'; college girl fights abuser near Udupi, video viral

BENGALURU: A youngster who misbehaved with a college student was thrashed with sandals by the crowd. The incident happened in Udupi and the video of the same is currently running viral on social media.

The girl student was leaving the hostel for college when she encountered the man. He followed her for many distance after which the girl politely asked him to retreat. However, the disturbance continued and later turned to assaults forcing the girl to shout out loud. Hearing the voice the locals reached the spot and trapped the assailant. The girl then took her sandals and thrashed them on the stalker's face. In the video, the man can be heard pleading for forgiveness. The locals later handed him over to the police.
