Booker T falls into silence, Triple H devastated; WWE shocked by Bray Wyatt's untimely passing at 36

Friday night Smackdown was the top-billing watch for many WWE aficionados in the world. However, this Friday morning (25/8/2023) infused a sense of bereavement for the millions of wrestling fans all over the globe.

It was Paul Levesque( Triple H) who posted on X about the shocking passing of WWE superstar Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt. He was just 36 and it felt hard for people to believe the news since Rotunda was not anyone who looked ready to die of a heart attack among all the other ailments. He often played heel in the ring, wearing an eerie goat mask and taking the viewers into believing his devilish shade, as the man who feared nothing. Albeit the many heel characters including ‘the fiend’, (a total cataclysmic appearance), people loved him mostly for his dedication to give it out full whenever inside the ring.

According to ESPN, Mr Wyatt had been inactive over the past several months in WWE while dealing with an undisclosed health issue.

Rotunda was shockingly released from the company in 2021 but returned only last September amidst much celebration from the fans. According to insiders within the industry, Rotunda is a genius at weaving new storylines. He had a unique brain to come up with such storylines that were a force in itself, making people sit glued to the television channels for hours. The industry reacted with shock about the passing and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T went into silence as he got to know about the tragic event while being in a live podcast.

According to TMZ, Mr. Wyatt was a three-time world champion in WWE, including the WWE Championship once and the Universal Championship twice.

Rotunda is married to Jojo Offerman, who is also a ring announcer with WWE.
