NEW DELHI: The national capital is gearing up for the 18th G 20 summit. Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan is the venue for the summit. The capital is making significant preparations to welcome prominent leaders from various countries including American President Joe Biden.
The Delhi Police have also requested assistance from the Metro for the smooth operation of the summit. As part of the security arrangements, the operation of certain metro stations has been ordered to be suspended from September 8 to 10. The police have instructed the suspension of metro services at stations such as Munirka, R K Puram, Moti Bagh, Bhikaji Cama Place and Sadar Bazar Cantonment.
Officials have informed that the Supreme Court Metro Station, located near the G 20 summit venue will also be completely closed. The metro stations under normal control will operate as usual.
