PM Modi has not taken leave in nine years: RTI

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not taken a leave in the last nine years since he assumed office for the first time in 2014, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in response to an RTI query. The PMO stated that Modi participated in more than 3,000 functions in the country and abroad during this period. The Prime Office stated this in response to the query made by Praful P. Sarda under the Right to Information Act.
