Superstar in new look along with Manju Warrier; shooting of Thalaivar 170 starts in Thiruvananthapuram

After the hit movie Jailer, Superstar Rajinikanth's new movie has started its shoot in Thiruvananthapuram. Produced by Lyca Productions, this big budget movie stars Rajini, Manju Warrier and the Big B of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan, in an important role. The movie is directed by TJ Gnanavel, the director of the hit movie Jai Bheem. Pictures from the film's pooja function were released this morning. Rajini has a new look in the photos that were released.

The superstar will be seen in a never-before-seen role in the film, tentatively titled Thalaivar 170. The actor will be in Thiruvananthapuram for the ten-day shoot of the film. Filming is happening at Vellayani Agricultural College and a house in Shankhumukham.

Manju Warrier plays Rajinikanth's wife. Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh are the other heroines. Dushara is an actress who is notable for her acting in films like Sarpatta Parambarai and Aneethi. Other stars include Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati.
