NAGPUR: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that the idol of Lord Ram will be installed at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. He also said that the pujas for the consecration will start from January 14. Mohan Bhagwat was speaking at the Vijayadashami Day celebrations at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur.
Mohan Bhagwat also directed RSS workers to make preparations for performing pujas and celebrations in all the temples of the country in connection with the installation of Lord Ram's idol. Meanwhile, reports are claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the installation of Lord Ram's idol at Ayodhya temple. It is reported that Modi will stay in Ayodhya for a few days in connection with the function.
"The whole world is looking towards India to solve their problems. As the election approaches, we must be wary of those who are trying to divide us. Voting is the duty of citizens. Everyone must vote after thinking about who did the best for the country. We have experiences before us to make the decision," Mohan Bhagwat said.
Meanwhile, Ayodhya Temple Tantri Acharya Satyendra Das said that the construction work of the temple will be completed by December.
