Actor and former BJP MP Suresh Gopi had recently courted controversy for resting his hand on the shoulder of a woman reporter. Now, actor Baiju has opened up that after that controversy, he always tries to stand two metres away from women.

"Didn't you know about Suresh Gopi's incident? After that, I always try to stand two metres away from women," Baiju said while talking in a program organised by a media outlet.

The controversial incident involving Suresh Gopi took place while the actor was speaking to the reporters in Thali in Kozhikode. While responding to the questions of reporters, Suresh Gopi was seen putting his hand on the shoulder of a woman journalist who had asked a question he did not like. It is clear from the footage that Suresh Gopi repeatedly placed his hand over the journalist's shoulder even after she brushed his hand away.
