ABU DHABI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in the UAE on Thursday to attend the Climate Conference. The visit is on the invitation of the UAE President. There is also a report that talks will be held with Arab leaders on the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed his concern over the trend of 'big families' conducting marriages abroad. In the 107th edition of the radio program 'Mann Ki Baat' appealed to the people to hold such celebrations on Indian soil so that the country's money does not leave the border.

Modi also requested to give importance to the products made in India while buying the items required for weddings.

"The wedding season has started. Some trade bodies estimate that the business will be around Rs 5 lakh crore this season. While shopping for weddings, you should all focus on products made in India,' he said.

"And yes, since the topic of marriage has come up, one thing has been troubling me off and on for a long time... and if I don't open up my heart's pain to my family members, who else do I do it with? Just ponder... these days a new milieu is being created by some families to go abroad and conduct weddings. Is this at all necessary?” Modi said.
