LOS ANGELES: Hollywood actor Christian Oliver (51), popular for his role in Indiana Jones, died in a plane crash along with his two daughters in the Caribbean Sea. According to the police, the private plane in which they were travelling crashed into the Caribbean Sea shortly after take-off.
The crash is said to have happened on Thursday noon at 12:10 pm. Madita Klepser(10) and Annik Klepser(12) are Oliver’s daughters who died in the crash. The pilot Roert Shaw also died in the fatal incident. As soon as the incident took place, the fishermen and the coast guard reached the spot but could not save the lives of those on board. The bodies were taken to the hospital by the Coast Guard. It is reported that the post-mortem process has not been completed yet.
Christian Oliver, who has been active in the film industry for 30 years, has starred in films with Tom Cruise and George Clooney. Christian Oliver has appeared in over sixty films and television shows. The actor gained attention through the action-comedy film 'Speed Racer' which was released in 2008.
It is said that the private plane carrying Oliver and daughters experienced trouble just from the take-off and the radio transmission also proves it right. The pilot attempted to detour the flight back to the land but shockingly nose-dived into the Caribbean Sea, resulting in the tragedy.
