Protest begins in Delhi; DMK representative arrives wearing black dress

NEW DELHI: The protest led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan against Centre’s neglect has started. Apart from the chief minister, ministers and central leaders of the CPM have reached the protest venue.

CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury and the chief minister are in the front row at Jantar Mantar, the protest venue. The leaders reached the protest stage with the slogan ‘thakarilla Keralam, thalarilla Keralam'. DMK representative Pazhanivel Thyagarajan came to participate in the protest wearing black dress. It is reported that Aam Aadmi leaders have also arrived.

Meanwhile, League leader Abdul Wahab met the chief minister at Kerala House. The meeting was just before the start of the protest. Abdul Wahab MP came to inform that they will not support the protest and came to see him as a matter of courtesy. He came with K T Jaleel.
