There is no need for any befitting reply for the long-spreading rumour surrounding Kalabhavan Mani, said actress Divya Unni. The actress was responding to the rumour that she was denied the heroine role of a Kalabhavan Mani movie once. Divya Unni clarified that she kept a great relationship with the actor.

Divya Unni:

Responding to this issue will be disrespectful to Kalabhavan Mani. I don’t have any recollection of the incident. If given any response, people will see that as some justification. So better keep mum. There is no point in talking about it. Mani Chettan is no more. He knows how much I liked him.

Since my first film, we have done so many films together. It seems disrespectful to respond to this. For people spreading such rumours kindly note that I won’t read any of the comments and I am free from such mental traumas. Talking more about the issue will be fodder for such newsmongers to create another story.

Some years back, there was news about one actress denying screen space with Kalabhavan Mani for his black skin colour. Later, it was zeroed that the actress was Divya Unni. Ever since the news, the actress, who is now based in the US came under constant cyber-attacks.
