'Priyanka did not participate in Bharat Nyay yathra due to rift with Rahul Gandhi over party matters', BJP with allegations

NEW DELHI: BJP has responded to the absence of AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi after the Bharat Nyay Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi entered Uttar Pradesh. BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya said that the main reason for Priyanka Gandhi's absence from the Nyay Yatra is the dispute over who owns the Congress party.

Priyanka Gandhi had earlier informed that she will not be able to participate in the Bharat Nyay Yatra, which entered Uttar Pradesh. Priyanka is seeking treatment at the hospital due to health problems. Priyanka also said that she will participate in the yatra if her health recovers. I wish my colleagues and my dear brother in UP, who worked hard for the arrangements for the Bharat Nyay Yatra, all the success when they reach Chandauli today, Priyanka said.

But the BJP is alleging that Priyanka did not attend the yatra due to a dispute with Rahul. Amit Malviya said that everyone now knows the irreconcilable rift between brother and sister over ownership of the Congress party. 'Everyone should take care of their health. Bharat Yatra 2.0 has started. Priyanka is missing on the trip. Rahul and his team have reached UP today. Priyanka is nowhere to be seen. Amit Malviya said that the conflict between them regarding the ownership of the party is known to everyone,' said Amit Malviya.

Rahul Gandhi started Bharat Nyay Yatra from Manipur to Mumbai on January 14 as a continuation of Bharat Jodo Yatra. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge flagged off the Yatra in Imphal. The Yatra entered Uttar Pradesh on Friday. The aim of the yatra is to win more seats in the next Lok Sabha elections.

The journey covers 6,200 km through 85 districts of 14 states. The finale will be held on March 20 in Mumbai. The second journey is mostly by special bus. Walking only in some places. The journey passes through the states of Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
