‘Drishyam’, one of the biggest grosser and super hit movies to have ever happened in the Malayalam film industry is now trying new waters. As per reports, initial work has commenced in remaking the movie to Hollywood.
Production company Panorama Studios has announced that it has tied up with Gulfstream Pictures and Jot Films for the Hollywood remake of the Drishyam franchise. Panorama Studios had acquired the international remake rights of the first and second parts of Drishyam from Aashirvad Cinemas.

The Korean remake of the film is also in progress. The production company also stated that the film will be made in Spanish. After releasing it in Hollywood and the Korean language, Panorama Studios stated that the goal is to prepare the film in ten more countries.
Drishyam was remade in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Sinhala and Mandarin. The second part of the film which was released in OTT during the pandemic tasted tremendous success.
