'Manjummel Boys' becomes first Malayalam film to enter 200 crore club, collects 50 crores from Tamil Nadu

'Manjummel Boys', which is still running to packed houses across the globe, has created history by becoming the first Malayalam film to enter the 200 crore club. Apart from Kerala, the film is doing extremely well in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and foreign countries such as the USA. The film, which was released on February 22, dethroned '2018' to become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time. '2018', directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, had collected Rs 175 crores at the global box office.

'Manjummel Boys' is a survival thriller written and directed by Chidambaram. It also became the first Malayalam film to collect Rs 50 crore in Tamil Nadu. The Telugu dubbed version of the film is all set to hit the theatres.
