BHOPAL: 14 people were injured in a fire at a temple during Holi celebrations. The incident occurred this morning at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The injured, including temple staff and the guru, were admitted to the hospital. No casualties were reported.
The fire broke out during the Bhasma Aarti inside the sanctum of the temple. An inquiry has been ordered at the magistrate level. District Collector Neeraj Singh stated that the injured people are currently receiving treatment.
