THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More information has surfaced on the mysterious death of a Malayali couple and their friend, a teacher, in Arunachal Pradesh. It is hinted that it was Naveen, husband of Devi, who led his wife and her friend Arya to a strange path.

Naveen had convinced both of them that there is a place after death. It is also clear that Naveen had tempted both of them saying that they can go there after death. It was also found that Naveen had sent pictures of dead body and blood drops to Arya.

Arya B Nair (29) of MMRA 198 Sreeragam, Vattyoorkavu Melathumele, Naveen Thomas (39) of Kottayam and his wife Devi (39) of Vattyoorkavu Moonamoodu Abhrakuzhi MMRA CRA Kavil Devi, ayurvedic doctors, were found dead in their hotel room in Itanagar yesterday. The bodies will be handed over to relatives after post-mortem.

It is also indicated that all three decided to die after Arya's marriage was fixed. Arya's marriage was fixed for May 7. Her father had lodged a missing complaint with the police on March 27. The police also found that Naveen searched on the internet about life after death.

A note saying 'Lived happily, now going' and the phone number of those who need to be informed after their deaths were kept on top of the table. Nothing suspicious was found on CCTV. However, it was found that they had checked YouTube videos on how to die. The police have decided to conduct an investigation based on the information related to Naveen.

Arya was a teacher in a private school in Sreekaryam. Devi used to work there as a teacher. All three went to Arunachal on March 27. They stayed in a hotel in Siro, 100 km away from Itanagar. They had food from the restaurant and as they were not seen yesterday, the hotel staff went in search of them. Arya was lying on the bed and Devi was on the ground with wrists slit. Naveen's body was found in the washroom.

All the three died due to excessive bleeding from different types of wounds all over their bodies. Devi is the daughter of renowned wildlife photographer Balan Madhav and Latha, a yoga teacher at Christ Nagar School. Arya is the daughter of retired official of Hindustan Latex Ltd and Manju.
