Amitabh Bachchan's Mahabharata character revealed; Kalki 2898 AD teaser out

The latest teaser of the mammoth budget film 'Kalki 2898 AD' is out. The film directed by Nag Ashwin is inspired by Hindu Mythology with Prabhas playing the lead role. However, in the latest trailer released, it is not Prabhas who grabs screen space but superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The teaser gives a sneak peek into the Big B's character — Aswatthama, the son of Drona from the Hindu epic Mahabharata.

The one-minute-nine-second-long teaser has made full use of the de-ageing technology to give an enthralling aura to the mythological storytelling.

'Kalki 2898 AD', which will see Prabhas playing the titular character of ‘Bhairava’ will be released worldwide on May 9th. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in lead roles, the film is a science fiction film taking inspiration from Hindu mythologies.

After its smashing debut at the San Diego Comic-Con last year, the film has garnered global attention and is being awaited by the audience with high expectations.
