He said that it's noteworthy that a significant portion of the votes came from opposition parties to the BJP. Krishnakumar emphasized his focus on engaging with the people rather than solely counting votes. He intends to explore avenues for development in Kollam and discuss strategies with relevant ministers.

Shobha Surendran also asserted that the NDA would make significant strides in her constituency, Alappuzha. She noted that her statements resonated, particularly in coastal areas, indicating a favorable sentiment towards the BJP. Additionally, Surendran criticized UDF candidate KC Venugopal, remarking that he lacks the prowess of prominent Congress leaders.
