NEW DELHI: In addition to the sexual abuse complaint against West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose, the complainant has come forward against more employees of the Raj Bhavan. She lodged a complaint against three more employees. She alleged that she was locked in the room at Raj Bhavan and that they took her phone.
She came forward against the OSD (officer on special duty), peon and pantry staff of the Raj Bhavan. The woman said that they threatened her not to file a complaint against the governor.
The woman in her complaint alleged that after being sexually abused by the governor, she tried to run out of the Raj Bhavan but was stopped by three employees and threatened her when she decided to file a police complaint. She said that the OSD threatened her. Her complaint said that the pantry employee and the peon locked her in the room and snatched her phone. The police said the details of the woman's complaint and her statement have been recorded. The police are in the process of issuing a notice to the three employees immediately.
Ananda Bose had directed the Raj Bhavan employees not to cooperate with the police investigation in the case. The directive shared on the official handle of Raj Bhavan, explicitly prohibits staff members, whether permanent or temporary, from making any statements online, offline, in person, over the phone, or through any other means regarding the ongoing investigation. Meantime, Mamata Banerjee government will inform the President of Raj Bhavan's non-cooperation.
