NEW DELHI: West Bengal governor C V Ananda Bose on Wednesday instructed officials to make immediate arrangements to screen crucial CCTV footage in Raj Bhavan premises for public viewing. In the latest news, the Raj Bhavan officials said they will allow the screening for 100 people but will not show it to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee or West Bengal police.

100 people will be selected from e-mail applications received. The footage will be aired on Thursday at 11.30 am titled 'Sach Ke Samne'. Governor C V Ananda Bose informed about this decision through his X handle.

Those who want to see the footage can mail their application to Raj Bhavan. The post also says that the 100 people selected will be invited to the screening at Raj Bhavan on Thursday at 11.30 am. Earlier the special team investigating the sexual allegation complaint against the Governor had requested this footage.

A contractual woman employee of Raj Bhavan had earlier alleged sexual assault against C V Ananda Bose inside the Raj Bhavan premises. This led to an uproar from the TMC government in West Bengal and demands also arose about ousting the Governor. In a response, Bose had termed the politics espoused by Mamata Banerjee as ‘Dirty’.
