'Another level film like Drishyam, Asif Ali rocked'; 'Thalavan' opens to excellent response from audience

'Thalavan', starring Biju Menon and Asif Ali in lead roles, has hit the theatres. The film, directed by Jis Joy, is getting excellent responses from the audience. Several people have praised Asif Ali's performance in the film.

"It's a superb movie. Asif Ali acted very well. It is a standard cinema. The direction was good. The film is on another level like 'Drishyam'. I am waiting for the second part of the film," the audience said.

The film is about the issues between two police officers of different ranks. It is an investigative thriller set in the backdrop of the villages in Malabar. Anusree, Miya George, Dileesh Pothen, Kottayam Nazeer, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Joji iK John, Dinesh, Anuroop and Nandan Unni also played important characters in the film.

Sharath Perumbavoor and Anand Thevarakkattu have written the film's screenplay. Cinematography- Sharana Velayudhan. Editing- Sooraj ES. Art Direction- Ajayan Mangad. The film is produced by Arun Narayan and Sijo Sebastian.
