He said that he is struck with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Syndrome (ADHD). He disclosed about his illness during the inaugural function of Peace Valley Children’s Village in Kothamangalam.
‘There is a health condition called ADHD. It can be easily cured if discovered at a young age. I was diagnosed with the disease at the age of 41. I have some types of disorder. There are many faces seen here today which will probably never be forgotten. I believe that some light entered through these faces. I thank almighty for bringing me to Peace Valley in that light.
I will cooperate in whichever way I can in the journey of Peace Valley. Just have to say what should be done. What should I tell you? If you can smile when you see me, that's the greatest thing I can do for you. I fully believe that I am one of you. So, I believe that we can meet each other again in the journey,’ said Fahadh.
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder. This condition is mostly seen in children. Symptoms include inattention and hyperactivity. It can even affect studies. If proper treatment is not provided, children may be misguided.
It has many symptoms in adults such as forgetfulness and lack of understanding of time, waiting until the last minute to do anything. This happens due to lack of dopamine in the brain.
