Actress and television star Rithima Pandit reacts to the news of her marriage with young Indian cricketer Shubman Gill. Rumours were rife that Rithima's marriage with Gill would take place in December. The actress opened up in an interview with ETimes.

"It's just some people's imagination. Some cooked-up stories go viral on social media. I don't even know Gill personally. I have been receiving greeting messages since morning. I'm tired of denying and denying this. After clarifying this, the post was shared on social media," the actress clarified.

She stated in the interview that she is single. "I want to be in a relationship. But now, even those who are interested will not come forward because of these rumors. I also want to get married and settle down," Rithima said.

"I woke up in the morning to phone calls from several journalists. This has never happened before. More people are calling to know about my marriage. But married to whom? There is no such thing. I will let you know if anything happens. Nothing is happening now," Rithima wrote in her Instagram story.
