NAGPUR: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat criticized the political division during the Lok Sabha election campaign. Mohan Bhagwat said that the elections are over and now the importance should be given to nation building. He also advised the opposition and the ruling party that there is a need to change the approach to elections and governance. Mohan Bhagwat stated this while speaking at an event organized by RSS in Nagpur.

'Election is the process of building consensus. Parliament has two sides. So both sides of any question need to be considered. Every problem has two sides. When one party examines one side, the opposing side must examine the other side. Only then we will be able to take a correct decision' - said Mohan Bhagwat. Mohan Bhagwat's statement pointed out the importance of the opposition in the Lok Sabha.

He also clarified that RSS is not affected by the mandate that comes once in five years in the country. "Sangh works to modify public opinion in every election and has done so this time too, but we do not analyze the results. Why are people chosen? The aim is to build consensus on various issues before going to Parliament. Our tradition is also about building consensus. This is a competition, not a war' - said Mohan Bhagwat.

Mohan Bhagwat also pointed out the bad trends during the elections. Both the parties were seen throwing accusations during the election. No one thinks that their actions will cause division in the society. The Sangh Parivar was also dragged into this for no reason. Technology has been used to spread falsehoods. Is technology to be used for this? Then how will the country work' - Mohan Bhagawat added.

A true servant will always be dignified in action and such people will not indulge in their work. Only such people are called sevak - said Mohan Bhagwat.
