Murder accused hacked to death in Thrissur, three-member gang in custody

THRISSUR: A murder accused was hacked to death on the roadside. The incident happened at Poochatty in Thrissur. The dead is Satheesh (48) of Aikya Nagar in Nadathara. The murder was committed by a three-member gang. The police informed that they have been taken into custody. Shijo of Valakkavu, Sajithan of Ponnukkara and Joemon from Poochatty are those in custody.

The incident happened on Sunday night around 11 pm. Satheesh and the accused had attended a party yesterday. It is hinted that a verbal dispute broke out between them. The accused later called Satheesh to solve the issue and it is believed a dispute may have broken out again leading to the murder.

Satheesh murdered and the three-member gang were accused in the same case. There are other cases against Satheesh. There were financial dealings between one of the accused Shijo and Satheesh. It is indicated that the issue related to this led to the dispute and the murder. The police are investigating whether more are involved in the murder.
