Malayali driver stabbed to death in Tamil Nadu; murder during robbery attempt?

KRISHNAGIRI: A Malayali truck driver was stabbed to death while he was returning from Bengaluru. Eliyas of Nedumbassery in Kochi was stabbed to death at Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu. The Krishnagiri police informed that the murder was around 9 pm on Sunday.

Eliyas went to Bengaluru last week in a lorry with household items. The incident happened while he was returning from there. It is hinted that the murder happened during a robbery attempt.

His body has been shifted to the government hospital in Krishnagiri for post-mortem. Krishnagiri police informed that investigation is progressing in the case.
