'Not just me, there are 14 others on list; actor Siddique files complaint against actress

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Siddique on Monday filed a complaint against the actress who alleged sexual misconduct from him. In his complaint to the police chief, Siddique said the allegation to be a part of a criminal conspiracy.

Siddique:

“The actress has been changing her stance at different times. In 2018, she said I used obscene language at her. Now she is alleging sexual assault. I first saw her at the preview show of the movie ‘Sughamayirikatte’. She was always with her parents and I have not seen her alone. I have never talked badly with her or assaulted her.

The same person has alleged sexual misconduct from 14 other celebrities and politicians. She is on a mission to get famous and is using this chance to defame ‘AMMA’ organization. The truth behind this criminal conspiracy needs to be brought out."

Last day, Siddique resigned from the post of general secretary of the actors' organization 'Amma' following the sexual allegations of the actress. The resignation was voluntary in the wake of the allegations. Siddique said that he is currently in Ooty and will comment on the resignation after returning to Kerala.

The actress alleged that she was summoned to Siddique’s room in Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram in 2016, where she was sexually assaulted.
