THIRUVANTHAPURAM: Actor Jayasurya has clarified that all the allegations leveled against him are false and he is preparing for a legal battle. He also wrote on Facebook that let who is without sin cast stone, only at sinners. Jayasurya said that the false allegations caused pain to him and his family and added that he will continue with the legal battle after returning from America.
The note starts with "Today is my birthday. Thanks to everyone who has been with me with love and wishes," and ends with, "Thank you for making this birthday the saddest."
"It is said that by the time truth puts on its shoes, the lie would have completed its journey around the world, but it is certain that the final victory will be for the truth. Due to personal needs, I have been in America with my family for about a month. In the meantime, two false allegations of molestation were unexpectedly filed against me. Naturally, it broke me like any other person and left my family members in deep grief. It hurt everyone who was close to me. After recovering from the shock, I consulted legal experts. They will decide what to do next." Jayasurya wrote on Facebook.
Thiruvananthapuram Cantonment Police had registered a case against Jayasurya under non-bailable section on the complaint of an actress. The actress complained that Jayasurya sexually assaulted her near the washroom during the filming of a film at Secretariat. The police had registered a second case on the complaint that Jayasurya had sexually assaulted an actress at a location in Thodupuzha.
