CHENNAI: In a shocking allegation, Tamil Nadu BJP leader Selva Kumar said that a young woman was molested by a minister's driver and his friends. The BJP leader said that the gang is now threatening the young girl with the footage of the sexual act.

Selva Kumar alleged compliance from Chief Minister MK Stalin, who is trying to save the accused minister. Selva Kumar, the vice president of the BJP's industry wing, tweeted against Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi’s driver Silambarasan.

“The college student was coerced into the act by showing her the private video captured. The girl even complained to the superintendent of police, but he cared not to act after the minister’s intervention” said Selva Kumar.

Meanwhile, on September 3, the 17-year-old girl filed a complaint with the district superintendent of police, alleging that she was gang-raped, India Today reported.

In the complaint, it is said that Silambarasan befriended the victim and took her with him to many places. During this time, she was sexually molested and her private videos were also captured.

Silmabarasan tried to move away from her after promising her money and warned her not to disclose the news to her parents. Silambarasan bought the victim an abortion pill when she became pregnant, revealed the girl’s mother.

The mother of the victim also said that the family is facing constant threats from the gang.
