KOCHI: Sandra Thomas said that after the release of the Hema Committee report, there are differences of opinion in the producers' organization. Many responded due to media pressure. Sandra Thomas in an interview to a media said the producers' association is never with the victims.
Sandra Thomas’ words
Many organizations responded due to media pressure, but they are not going to take any action against it. It is high time to take corrective measures in the organizations. A letter including a few things was given to the organization as to what could be done that could be corrected as a producer. There is no action for that either. Many a part of the power group are in the organizations. They are keeping mum as part of it. Why is the Film Producers Chamber, which used to respond to even minor issues, not responding to such a big issue?
Even the meeting convened the other day was a farce. They unilaterally sent a letter to the chief minister without even asking our opinion. That letter of the producers’ association, has the stand of being with the hunters. It also criticizes the Hema Committee report. I am being sidelined for testifying in the Hema Committee. The reactions of the members of the organization are funny when each of them shares their bad experiences.
