THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Youth Congress and Youth League activists filed a complaint with the state police chief demanding that a case be filed against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for incitement to riots. The complaint said the chief minister’s interview in The Hindu was aimed at creating rivalry between different religious groups and defaming one hometown in front of others.
The chief minister came forward to clarify that the remarks in the interview are not his and the daily had given an explanation that things he did not say were included in the interview. The complaint also demanded that a case be filed against the MD of Kaizzen PR Agency, who arranged the interview, editor and deputy editor of Hindu.
The chief minister's interview led to widespread protests across the state. A case has been registered against many in connection with the protests. Youth Congress state vice president advocate Abin Varkey has filed a complaint seeking a case be filed against the chief minister, The Hindu and the PR agency responsible for the misunderstandings and attacks.

Muslim Youth League general secretary P K Feroz filed a complaint showing that they are trying to create communal polarization by spreading hate propaganda in Kerala with the help of a PR agency.
