Malayalam serial actress arrested with MDMA in Kollam

PARAVUR: A popular Malayalam serial actress was arrested by police for possessing deadly drugs including MDMA. Ozhukupara native Shamnath(36) alias Parvathy was arrested in the incident. Shamnath was arrested based on a tip-off received by the Paravur inspector. During the search conducted at their house, three grams of MDMA was seized. The police are investigating whether Shamnam has links with drug trafficking gangs. The actress will be produced in court today. Shamnath lived with her husband in Kollam.

It was just last day that police arrested five people, including a woman, with MDMA in Kollam Kottiyam. Faisal (29), Vipin (32), Aarti (30), Bilal (35), Sumesh (26) were arrested in the incident. 4.37 grams of MDMA, was recovered from the house of the first accused during the inspection conducted by the police team.
