BENGALURU: Kannada film director Guruprasad (52) was found dead at his residence in Bengaluru. The body was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his apartment in Madanayakanahalli. The body was in a decomposed state. The initial conclusion of the police is that Guruprasad may have committed suicide a few days ago.

The police reached the spot and checked following a complaint from neighbours that an unbearable smell was emanating from the apartment. Guruprasad was reportedly facing financial difficulties.
