Netanyahu admits Israel behind cyber 'pager attack' on Hezbollah

TEL AVIV: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted to being behind the Pager attack in Lebanon in September that killed 40 people and injured 3,000. His spokesman, Omer Dostri, said Netanyahu admitted that he had authorized the Pager attack in Lebanon.

Netanyahu also admitted that he ordered the killing of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. The Times of Israel reports that Netanyahu said he made both decisions without the opposition of senior members of the defense and other political leaders in the country.

Lebanon was literally shocked by the explosion of pagers in different parts of the country within 30 minutes. The explosion resulted in the death of several Hezbollah leaders and serious injuries to many others. Lebanon has filed a complaint with the United Nations Labor Agency.

After confirming the death of Hezbollah chief, Iran launched a missile attack on Israel. At the same time, Israel rejected Iran's claim and stated that its missile defense system destroyed most of Iran's missiles.
