The Aluva-based actress told media that she will not take back her complaint against prominent actors including Mukesh. The complainant reiterated that she has not received any support from the government. She was talking with an online media channel.
ALUVA-BASED ACTRESS:
“I filed the case in the incident that happened 15 years ago. During that time, I was not in a position to file a complaint. I left Kerala then. It was only recently that I returned to the state and then I got to know that the cine industry still remains filthy with all its atrocities. So, I felt like proceeding with the case. A POCSO case was filed against me when I went ahead. But I don’t know the current status of the case.
I talked with Muvattupuzha police to enquire about the case but couldn’t find any details. So a complaint was filed at the Nedumbassery police station. Still, the situation remained the same. This forced me to write a complaint not just to the chief minister but also to the prime minister of India. My family and children went through vile cyber-attacks during this period. I moved ahead with the case only to ensure the safety of women in the cine industry. The girl who filed a fake case against me should face the consequences.
The girl even alleged that I killed a driver. Why are the police not investigating this despite such a strong allegation? Just for raising my voice against the actors, I have been isolated from the industry. Many threatening calls reached me since the day I raised my voice against the actors. One actor even offered me Rs 25 lakhs to settle the case.
Many people were with me during the start of the issue. Strong personalities like Swasika went against me. How can Swasika give clean chit to Mukesh and Jayasurya? She is aiming at survival in the industry. I have suffered and know the truth.
Just check on how a serial actress like Swasika got into mainstream films. I have not made any adjustments to get bigger roles in movies. I can also take a similar stance to Swasika, which will help me get some money. But I am not doing it.
If there is progress in the POCSO case filed against me, I will definitely move ahead with the complaint against the actors.
