NEW DELHI: A massive explosion has occurred in the national capital. The explosion occurred this afternoon at a sweet stall near PVR multiplex in Prashant Vihar in North Delhi. According to preliminary information, nobody has sustained any injuries. According to the latest reports, the police and forensic department, which rushed to the spot, found a white powder-like substance during the inspection conducted in the area. Experts, including bomb disposal specialists, have arrived at the scene. Meanwhile, a report states that the police had received a threat message about a blast at 11:48 am today. However, no official confirmation has been made in this regard.
The explosion at the sweet stall occurred a month after a similar explosion occurred near the CRPF school in Prashant Vihar. Although the wall of the schools was destroyed in the blast, no casualties were reported then. A white powder-like substance was found at the blast site on that day as well. Hence, it is suspected that the same group is behind both blasts. However, the police say that nothing can be confirmed until further investigation is conducted.
