Actress Keerthy Suresh and her childhood friend Antony Thattil tied the nuptial knot just a few days back. In two separate ceremonies, the marriage embraced both Christian tradition and the Tamil Iyengar style. And now, Producer Suresh Kumar’s interview where he delves into Keerthy’s marriage is going viral on social media.
Suresh Kumar:
“The marriage went well and the place was filled with euphoria. Keerthy’s friends and other relatives all regaled in the wedding gala. It was an event tuned specially for youngsters. We had nothing to do but watch all this in amazement. But we ensured that everything went well and organised.
By god’s grace, everything went well. During the morning, we conducted a Brahmin-style wedding while a typical Christian-style ring exchange was held in the evening. I have no idea whether the footage will be released through OTT platforms. Maybe in ten days, Keerthy will release all photos through her social media accounts.
Keerthy and other relatives selected Goa for the wedding. I had hitherto only visited Goa for film festivals and knew the place only through that aspect. But this was a different experience. A different Goa to term it lucidly.
I had no issue with the wedding. Their decision matters and nobody’s else. It is for the same reason that we agreed on the marriage. It is not ideal for us to break a relationship that has been going on for the last 15 years. A father’s duty is to ensure that his children marry someone they love. I have done that duty perfectly. Let's hope the newlywed couple have a great life ahead.”
