AHMEDABAD: Mystery is deepening in the case of the woman who committed suicide after sending an apology to her lover in a video and requesting him to marry another girl. Radha Thakur (27), a native of Gujarat, committed suicide. Radha, a beauty parlour owner, was living with her sister after separating from her husband. Radha was found dead by her relatives on Monday morning.
The sister says that Radha returned from work on Sunday as usual and went to sleep after having dinner. The family came to know that Radha used to talk to someone regularly and was close to him when they checked her phone after her death. Radha's sister alleges that this person is behind Radha's death. The family handed over the videos that Radha had sent to the man on the phone to the police, demanding that his role in the death be investigated.
In the recorded video message, Radha can be heard asking her boyfriend for a photo. However, he didn't send the photo. In another recorded call, Radha says " If I don't get the photo by 7 o'clock, you will see what will happen.
"Don't be sad. Live happily. Enjoy life and get married. Don’t think that I have died by suicide. I am asking for forgiveness with folded hands. If you are happy, my soul will find peace," says Radha in the last recorded video. The family and relatives have filed a complaint. The police said that an investigation is on to clear the mystery of the incident.
